The students of Black Rock Academy, School #51, of Buffalo New York, welcome you to a work in progress.

Members of the 7th and 8th grade Language Arts/Computer classes at Black Rock Academy have created the following web pages over the past four years.  We were honored to have Senator Hillary Clinton visit our school in June, 2000 and spend time with us in our computer lab.  We talked about our web sites and hopes for the future of technology for Black Rock Academy.

For the past three years we wrote to our pen-pals and teachers in Ghana, West Africa for a joint cultural exchange project using computer technology and distance learning.  In the 200-2001 school year we were part of the State University of New York at Buffalo CityVoices/City Visions Project.  We were proud and excited to be a part of this endeavor.
